Fm radio 92ktu

When i was growing up in Washington heights in the 80's. There was only one pool that was available to swim in, and that was a pool in the bronx called VanCourtland.
We would take the # 1 train to the last stop, 242st. The train would be crowded, with people eager to kool off the summer heat . It was mission to get there, and once there, we had to wait on line for an hour to pay 25 cents.
There was a store inside that would sell french fries in a cup drowned in ketchup, that was my reward for staying in the water for so long. I was to skinny to withstand the freezing water. Shivering with towel as my savior and a mouth full of fries.
That was when I was introduced to a different type of dancing, competition and dance, expression with self skill,Search Amazon.com for breakdancing It was called "Rocking".
The dance battles would happen @ the back side of the pool. My Mom bought me my first White Gloves. The one and only to inspire and encourage to do what i was born to do, 92 ktu playing AE, AEIOU!
